Your Fears Are Meant To Be Crushed By You

This is the only reason you are given your fears.

You were given them so that you might know the triumph of destroying them.

The triumph of truly conquering them.

The triumph of overwhelming them.

The triumph of standing on top of them.

The triumph of complete and utter victory.

The triumph of heroism.

You were given your fears so that you could destroy them.

Crush Your Fear
Crush Your Fear

This is the reason why you have them.

So you have to destroy them.

You have to fight against them.

And you have to push and combat against every inclination to be complacent.

Otherwise, you will become like a fattened calf waiting to be slaughtered.

But you must not just sit still.

You have to go and destroy what plagues you, what haunts you.

With the power of God, you can do it.

Because that fear is where you’ll find God.

That fear is where he’s waiting for you.

He’s in the same land.

God walks and reigns in the land of fear.

He’s simply waiting to see if you’ll come meet him there.

He’s there in the darkness and the quiet solitude of your heart where you dare not go.

It’s there that he’s waiting for you.

He’s waiting for you to have the courage of a warrior, to come meet him.

He’s there waiting for you so that he can free you from it.

When you meet God there and you live in that land for a while, and you subject yourself to what seems like certain death, you end up finding true love.

You end up finding freedom.

You end up wanting to live for only God.

And this is what liberates you.

Your fears don’t affect you anymore.

Your attachments don’t affect you anymore.

Only your love for God and desire to be with God is what keeps you living.

Everything else simply vanishes like smoke.

The Lord God will show you that your fears are one big puppet show.

It’s all smoke and mirrors.

From a distance, the puppet show looks so terrifying that we dare not try to examine it and see what’s behind the curtain, behind the stage.

But when we do, the puppets simply fall to the ground and disappear in smoke.

And you realize that nothing was there at all. Nothing was behind the fears.

And in this way, the fears are destroyed.

We destroy them by realizing what they truly are.

We conquer them.

By seeing that they are nothing, we destroy them. They have no power over us.

We must venture through our fears to destroy them, to see that they are nothing, so that we can truly be conquerors.

This is what God wants us to do.

But we must not merely venture there and then come back.

No, God wants us to venture there and stay there.

Because once we’re there the tides start to turn, the waves start to swell, the thunder begins to roar.

The rain begins to fall.

The clouds begin to gather.

There is noise, confusion.

It is harder to see.

And a multitude of cacophonous sounds surround us.

And then we are tempted to leave.

But that’s just the enemy’s trick to try to scare you.

Because you’ve gone into his land and he’s trying to scare you into leaving.

But what you have to do is stay.

You have to stay to see that it’s all fake.

You have to stay to see that it’s all just a little trap.

Just a trap.

Just a little show.

A cheap little trick.

And we simply have to live in it for a little while so that we can see it for what it is, and no longer believe it.

Our fears are pure nothingness in substance.

But we don’t know this until we live in them, observe them, explore them, with trust in God.

Once we do this, we are overcome with triumph.

We are overcome with the fervor of a victor.

We are overcome with the joy, enthusiasm, exuberance, and exclamation of a winner.

And we want to do more of it.

Because we’ve won. We’ve destroyed it.

We’ve destroyed it.

So we want to keep coming back for more and destroy other fears.

God lives in the land of fear.

We need to know that he is with us.

And that he will save us.

In the special moment when it’s right, he’s going to come and save us.

And while we’re there, we’re under his protection.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

This is what he means.

Fear is waiting for us to conquer it.

God only allows it so that we can be victorious.

So don’t wait. Go out and conquer it.

Destroy it with a righteous fury.

Because you are meant to conquer it.

Be liberal in your hatred for your own fear.

Be a conqueror. Destroy it mercilessly, savagely, brutally.

Destroy it because you’re meant to destroy it.

Come at it any which way you want – but you have to come at it.

God isn’t picky with his demands of you.

God doesn’t care how you come at your fear.

It’s the boldness he wants.

He wants you to come at it courageously, with wild abandon.

He wants you to come at it hatefully, zealously.

He wants you to come at it, throw yourself in front of it, screaming and fighting it, while trusting in him.

He wants you to fight against it, for your soul.

There are no rules when it comes to fighting for life and your soul – he wants you to fight as if there are no rules.

Fight the enemy. Fight your fears. Destroy him!

S**t on him! Choke him!

So that you can feel true life.

Don’t let the enemy live for even a minute inside of you.

Fight!

And fight!

And fight!

You are made to fight him.

You were made to fight him.

You are made to be a victor.

You are made to feel heaven before ever entering it.

You are made in the image of your Father who is a mighty warrior.

You are made to destroy your fears.

You are made to push yourself to the edge.

You are made to be willing to die for your freedom.

For your love, for your life, for your soul.

You are made to do all these things and more.

And you must not wait.

Fear holds you down.

Fear makes you complacent.

Fear makes you slow, inactive.

Fear makes you happy to have nothing.

Fear tells you, “Oh, I’ve done enough. I can relax now, sit back, have a drink and chill out. Maybe watch some Netflix.”

No! Choke that thought until it dies!

Go conquer that fear! Fight and live in that fear until it’s gone.

Live in that fear until you vanquish it!

Live in that fear and fight it with God.

Fight your fears with God until they’re gone.

That’s what you have to do.

Fight your fears with God until they’re gone.
